Snowshoe trekking in Les Bauges

We welcome you on the first day. You walk without an accompanist in a small group with friends and family. We provide you with maps, topo, we book the accommodation with half board and ensure the transfer of your luggage at each stage. We bring you back to your vehicle at the end of your stay. You have a winter mountain experience and you have already practiced hiking over several days in summer or winter.

Crossing the Bauges with snowshoes

High Bauges

From the western plateaus to the proud and slender summits of the high Bauges, this crossing takes you from combes to crests from one end of the massif to the other. The intimacy of the villages of the “Bauges devant” as well as the panoramas encountered on the great Alps make these snowy mountains an ideal destination for snowshoeing.

“Star” stay: passes and summits of the Massif des Bauges

Between Lake Bourget and Lake Annecy, the Bauges massif is both a geographical and cultural entity. This Regional Natural Park is made up of superb, wild and peaceful mountains. We found itineraries leading to passes and grandiose summits where chamois are often present. The hikes start from a hotel** “Logis de France”, a very friendly renovated village house in the heart of the typical village of Jarsy.
